maintenance and advice booklet , for the maintenance of our Citroën 5hp cars.

PREAMBLE:
The purpose of this document is essentially to be a very practical guide, a maintenance manual and not a
restoration guide.
It refers to other documents and files in the "5HP Links and Documentation" database as well as to certain
documents and exchanges processed on the 5 HP Amicale Forum.
The title is inspired by an illustrious educational work from 1759:
"The art of driving and adjusting clocks and watches, for the use of those who have no knowledge of
clockwork".... by M Ferdinand Berthoud Horloger Mécanicien du Roi et de la Marine '' (1)
This document is also strongly inspired by: "Guide de l'Amilcariste; Amilcar Automobile Repair and Adjustment
Guide "(2)
... because the Amilcar CC and the Citroën Type C, designed at the same time by Edmond Moyet, being half-
sisters,the maintenance manual of the Cercle Pégase Amilcar s' largely applies to 5HP and may have served as
a starting point.
A big thank you to the Cercle Pégase Amilcar who kindly gave their approval for this reuse.
This document must continue to evolve permanently thanks to the contributions, working notes, experiences,
improvements, from the members of Amicale 5HP and its Forum.
