12. Checking the model functions
a) Checking the rudder functions
First start running the transmitter then the model.
Important!
But do not yet press the release button for the motor function (see figure 7a, pos. 6)!
Neutral position
If the control lever for the rudder and elevator (see figure 2, pos. 4), and the associated trim slider (see figure 2, pos.
3 and 5) are in the middle positions, the rudder (see figure 18, pos. 1) and elevator (see figure 18, pos. 2) are to be
aligned precisely centred as well.
If necessary, the twisting of the respective fork heads can result in elongating the rods so that the rudder can be
adjusted with millimetre precision.
Elevator function
If the control lever for the rudder and elevator functions (see figure 2, pos. 4) is moved down, the elevator must deflect
to the top.
In flight, the landing gear is pressed downwards and the model ascends.
