f) Checking the rudder functions
• First start running the transmitter then the model. The safety button for the motor function may not be operated to
prevent accidental start-up.
• If you pull the control stick for the elevator and the fin unit downwards, the elevator unit must deflect upwards. In
flight, the landing gear is pressed downwards and the model ascends.
• If the elevator unit deflects downwards, you can reverse the rotation direction of the elevator servo with the reserve
switch for the elevator unit (see ill. 2, pos. 6).
If you pull the control stick for the elevator and the fin unit upwards, the elevator unit must deflect downwards. In flight,
the landing gear is then pressed upwards and the model descends.
This control function is required to put the model into a normal light position if it wants to ascend too much due to a
control error or a gust of wind..
