Commissioning
Observe EN 12056-4 for the commissioning.
Always avoid the pumps running dry (air is drawn in) for longer periods (> 30 seconds). The pumps can become dam-
aged.
Never switch on the pump if the system tank is not filled at least up to the minimum level.
6.1
Commissioning the system
Initialising the control unit
Supply the control unit with mains power.
The initialisation starts and the 4 LEDs illuminate consecutively, a signal tone sounds and the wastewater pump is
switched on for a few seconds.
After successful initialisation, the control unit is ready for operation and the green LED (1) illuminates.
Functional check
Switch the system off (pull out mains plug).
Open the maintenance opening in the system,
Completely fill the system tank with water.
The level must reach the opening of the cover plate.
Reinstate the control unit power supply (plug in the mains plug).
The control unit will initialise.
The functional check is successful if the following proce-
dures are carried out as described:
The alarm level is triggered, the alarm LED (2) flashes
red, a signal tone is generated and the wastewater pump
starts to empty the system tank.
After reducing the level to below the alarm level, the
alarm LED (2) extinguishes and the two orange LEDs
(level (3) and pump operation (4)) light up until the sys-
tem tank has been emptied by the wastewater pump.
Visual inspection:
Once the wastewater pump has stopped running, only
a few centimetres of water should be left in the system
tank.
Screw tight the maintenance opening on the system.
The system is ready for operation
