Mit dem RQflex plus Reflekto-
meter mit Küvettenadapter der
Firma Merck kann gerade im
Färbungsbereich von 10 bis
60 µg Protein/ml der Proteinge-
halt annähernd quantitativ er-
mittelt werden. So kann beson-
ders im Bereich violetter Fär-
bung der Lösung der Proteinge-
halt eindeutig bestimmt sowie
eine Verdünnung auf Grund des
verwendeten Volumens zur Pro-
bengewinnung berücksichtigt
werden.
Die erforderliche Codierung
des Messgerätes erfolgt mit
den zwei beiliegenden Bar-
codestreifen und ist in der
Gebrauchsanweisung des
RQflex plus beschrieben.
Zur Messung mit dem RQflex
plus muss zusätzlich zu den zu
messenden Test-Lösungen im-
mer eine Blindprobe mitgeführt
werden.
Erstellung der Blindprobe
Die Blindprobe wird erstellt, in-
dem die Nachweisreaktion in
dem Reaktionsfläschchen (Rea-
genz A) mit 1 ml Zusatz der rei-
nen, zur Probengewinnung ver-
wendeten 1 %igen SDS-Lösung
durchgeführt wurde.
Die Blindprobe kann für eine
Messserie in einem Zeitraum
bis zu 30 min. verwendet
werden.

Measurement using the
RQflex plus
reflectometer
The Merck RQflex plus
reflectometer with cuvette
adapter can evaluate the
approximate quantative protein
content in the colour range from
10 to 60 µg protein/ml. This
allows the definite determination
of protein in the purple colour
range as well as allowing for
dilution due to the volume used
for the assay.
Encoding of RQflex plus is
by means of the two bar-
code strips supplied with the
test kit and is described in
the operating instructions of
the relectometer.
When measuring with the
RQflex plus a control test must
always be carried out in
addition to the test solutions
being measured.
Setting up a control test
The control test is done by
carrying out the verification
reaction in the reaction bottles
(reagent A) with an addition of
1 ml of the pure, 1 % SDS
solution used for the assay.
The control test can be used
for taking a series of
measurements within a
period of up to 30 minutes.
