7. Assembly
When setting up or installing the unit, it is essential to comply with the mechanical and electrical installation instructions.
7.1 Mechanical assembly
During assembly, neither shocks nor pressure must be applied to the actuator.
The installation must be carried out in such a way that sufficient dissipation of the heat loss is ensured.
In the case of hollow shaft actuators, no radial forces or axial forces may act on the protective tube of the hollow drive
shaft.
During the bolting to the machine frame, it must be checked whether the actuator can be turned in the centring of the
machine housing without jamming. Even slight jamming can affect the accuracy of the gear. In this case, the fit of the
machine housing must be checked.
The data in the following tables are valid for completely degreased connection surfaces (coefficient of friction μ=0.15).
The screws must be secured against loosening.
The threads of the load attachment must be sealed.
It is recommended to use LOCTITE 243 for screw locking.

It should be noted that the table values are only to be used as initial values for the servo actuator AlopexDrive. Since
the AlopexDrive actuator is always designed as a customised solution, the hole pattern or even the surface (corrosion
protection) may be adapted, which may also have an effect on the fastenings and the transmissible torque values.
