8.5. Cleaning filtration cartridges
You must check the cleanliness of your cartridges every week and clean them if
necessary. The cartridges are replaceable and must be changed regularly. (Ref Aqualux:
CSSPAQX)
Switch off the power to the spa before removing the filters. The filter suction is very
high and the risk of injury increases when the filters are not fitted. Never operate your
spa without filters, except during the initiation phase and water preparation. This risks
physical injury and damage to the equipment. Any damage caused to the installation in

Remove the skimmer trap by sliding it upwards

Remove the skimmer basket by pulling it horizontally.

Unscrew the cartridges in an anti-clockwise direction.

Rinse the cartridges using a hose pipe, running the water from top to

bottom. Do not brush the filter cartridge with a scouring brush as this will
damage the folds and reduce the cartridge use life.
If you have hard water, use the filter de-scaling liquid to clean and de-scale
•
your cartridge.
If the cartridges look slimy (presence of algae) cleaning with chlorinated
•
liquid may be required).
Replace the cartridges, aligning the threads and screw them to the end. Do
•
not turn the cartridges too tightly. This will strip the threads and the filters
will not remain in place.
8.6. Replacement of the LED projector
Your Orchidée spa is fitted with an L.E.D. projector. If you wish to replace the
projector, please follow the procedure below:
Remove the front access panel on the digital control side.

Find and unscrew the reflector by turning it anti-clockwise until it comes out
•
