4. Choice of location of the spa
Before installing your new spa, make sure that the chosen location satisfies certain
requirements:
The GLANUM ORCHIDEE spas are portable, designed for private family use. All
operating equipment is installed under the spa.
Place the spa on an area sufficiently large enough to make it easy to get into and out of
the spa without danger (2 step stairs are sold by Aqualux).
The spa must be resting on a flat base, level and stable and capable of supporting the
weight of the spa (1530 kg, excluding the weight of bathers). We recommend a concrete
slab construction. (Damage caused by an inadequate or insufficient support is not
covered by the spa guarantee).
Orchidée spas are designed to be placed on the ground, however it is possible to place
it with the edges of the bath at ground level by observing the following
recommendations:
The spa must be resting on a flat base, level and stable and capable of supporting the
weight of the spa (1530 kg, excluding the weight of bathers).
The pipe work and all electrical apparatus (pumps, blower, box, etc...) under the spa
must be accessible by leaving, for example, an access corridor around the spa to enable
all the necessary electrical and water connections necessary for the installation and
maintenance of the spa. It is also important to schedule drainage for water evacuation.
This corridor may be covered by a suitable removable system to enable circulation
around the spa.
