6. Spa installation and start up
6.1. Prior inspection
Inspect your spa before filling it (shell, seals).
•
Remove any debris from the bath and the filter.
•
Make sure that the plugs are tightened, the connection-unions are tightened,
•
that the emptying tap is closed and accessible.
Check that the 4 valves on the pipeline are in the open position.
•
Leave the distribution valves in the middle position during filling in order to
•
allow air trapped in the pipelines to escape.
Check that the side panel is attached.
•
6.2. Filling the spa
Remove the cartridges. As indicated in the Cleaning filter cartridges section.
•
Leave the distribution valves in the middle position during filling in order to
•
allow air trapped in the pipelines to escape.
Insert the filling hose into the skimmer outlet to push out any air in the
•
pumps and stop the formation of air pockets.
Fill the spa up to the recommended water level indicated on the skimmer
•
and constantly check for leaks.
It is essential to be present throughout the filling of you spa to ensure correct operation.
Never fill the spa with hot water, which could damage the surface finish and the spa
plumbing, nor with water filtered through a water-softening device. Softened water may
damage the spa equipment.
