CLEANING, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Keep your machine clean, the outside of the machine can be cleaned
using a damp soft cloth with a mild detergent if required, never use water
to clean the machine as it may cause damage to internal parts.
Some maintenance products and solvents may damage the plastic parts,
these include products containing benzene. Trichloroethylene, chloride
and ammonia.
Take special care to keep the ventilation inlets /outlets free from
obstruction. Cleaning with a soft brush followed by a compressed air jet
will usually be sufficient to ensure acceptable internal cleanliness.
Wear eye protection when carrying out cleaning.
If the chain saw needs to be transported or unused for long periods of
time, empty the fuel tank.
Store the chain saw in a dry and safe room, not accessible to children.
When transporting or storing the chain saw, cover the guide bar and the
chain by using the guide bar cover provided.
If necessary, have the maintenance performed by a specialist or service
center.
