1) Start the engine, activate the throttle trigger to check if the chain
lubricating oil is delivered as shown in the figure 29.
2) When necessary, adjust the chain lubricating oil flow by turning the
adjustment screw of the oiler on the bottom of the chain saw using the
screwdriver. (Fig.30) Increase the oil flow by turning the oil pump
adjusting screw anticlockwise.
Note: the oil flow is adjusted to the optimal status before delivery,
normally, no need to adjust the oil flow.
OPERATION
-
To become proficient attend a recognized chain saw training course to
learn how to operate chain saws safely and effectively. Familiarize
yourself with all the controls and switches. Practice all movements with
the chain saw switched off.
-
During cutting, please don't keep the running speed just above clutch
engagement speed. Any prolonged use at low speed is likely to cause
premature wear of the clutch.
-
On the other hand, the user should not keep the engine speed in max
speed after cutting. Any prolonged use at the highest speed is likely to
reduce lifetime of engine.
-
Always take care to maintain a well balanced and secure position.
-
It is not necessary to force the saw into the cut. Apply only light pressure
while running the engine at full throttle.
-
When cutting trees and thick branches, the teeth of the spiked bumper
can be tied to the wood, prevent slippery, and easy cutting under the
focal point.
