1) Place the chain saw on a stable surface.
- Check that the area around the guide bar and the chain is free from
any object. Ensure the saw chain does not contact with anything
before starting the engine.
2) Set the on-off switch to "I" position (ON position) (Fig.21 part.1).

3)Pull the choke lever out to the closed position:

Note : Do not operate the throttle trigger.

4)Squeeze the fuel pump until the bubble is completely filled with fuel.

5) Hold the chain saw securely to the ground. Place your left hand on the
front handle, and hold the rear end of rear handle with your right knee.
Slowly pull the starter handle until you feel it engage and then pull it quickly.
Return the starter handle gently and slowly to the original position by hand.
Do not start the engine while handling the chain saw with one hand.
Note: when the engine is started for the every first time. It will require a
number of attempts to start until the fuel has travelled from the tank to the
motor.
Warning! Allow the rope to return slowly and in a controlled manner each
time it is pulled!
