Replace the filter at least once a year.
- Use a genuine filter.
Oil filter
Oil filter can be removed for cleaning (through the refueling hole (fig.49) by
using a hook and by holding it with long nose pliers.
Replace it if it appears damaged.
- Position the filter in the bottom right section of the tank (to ensure the oil is
correctly drawn).
Spark plug
Check the condition of the spark plug at least once a year or if the engine
struggles to start. Wait until the engine cools down before carrying out the
operation.
1) Remove the filter cover (fig. 45) by unscrewing the knob.
2) Remove the spark plug cap and unscrew the spark plug with the spark
plug wrench supplied (fig.50).
Check and possibly adjust the distance between the electrodes (fig. 51).
If stubborn dirt and high wear of the electrodes is noticed, replace with a
spark plug of the same type.
