Air filter
A blocked air filter reduces the engine performance, the cutting efficiency,
and increases fuel consumption.
- Cutting dry wood and working in a dusty environment require the filter to
be cleaned more often.
a) Remove the filter cover (fig. 45) by unscrewing the knob.
- Lift the filter (fig.46).
- Separate the two halves (fig.47) by using a screwdriver (if required).
- Blow with compressed air from the inside to the outside.
b) Replace the filter if damaged (warped and/or split).
c) Install the air filter and filter cover in the reverse order.
Fuel filter
Fuel filter can be removed (through the refueling hole fig.48) by using a hook
and by holding it with long nose pliers.
