To change the fixture's emergency duration setting from 180 minutes to 90 minutes, follow the steps given below:
1. Make sure power is disconnected before servicing the luminaire.
2. Open luminaire by loosening the eight captive screws. Allow the cover to swing open, enabling access to the wiring compartment.
see Figure 5/Figure 6.
3. Disengage duration (Yellow) wire connected with VBATT- (Black) wire from terminal.
4. Insert and torque VBATT- (Black) wire into the terminal.
5. Disengage VBATT+ (Red) wire from terminal.
6. Insert duration (Yellow) wire with VBATT+ (Red) wire into the terminal and torque it. For details follow Wiring diagram as applicable.
7. Tighten the eight captive screws by applying a torque of 2.25 N.m (20 Lb.in) using the sequence shown as in Figure 11. Make sure
wires do not pinch between cover and wiring compartment when closing.
8. Apply AC power to the unit. LED indicator should flash green.
9. The emergency duration setting of the luminaire has been changed from 180 minutes to 90 minutes.
NOTE:
1. By changing the emergency duration setting from 90 minutes to 180 minutes, lumen output during emergency mode will be
reduced approximately by 0.6 times.
Fuse Replacement
• Replace only with a fuse rating (amps and volts) as specified on the fuse label (located in the luminaire housing).
• The replacement fuse must be non-arcing (filled), non-indicating, and current limiting.
• Fuse replacement must only be done by qualified service personnel.
Battery Pack Replacement
• To replace the battery pack after every four (4) years. Refer battery label on battery pack for commencement date.
• Order a replacement battery kit BPMLLED from Appleton.
• Do not use any other battery packs.
• Follow the instructions given along with the battery replacement kit.
