IMPORTANT: RETAIN THIS INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. For safe installation and
operation, please read these instructions carefully and with full understanding.
• This luminaire is designed for permanent installation in Class I, Div. 1, Groups B, C & D and Class II, Div. 1,
Groups E, F, & G Hazardous, and Zone 1 IIB + H 2 (Canada only) Marine Non-Recessed Fixture, Outside Type
Saltwater Locations and other Wet Locations in accordance with the National Electrical Code
applicable codes.
• Suitable for locations having deposits of readily combustible paint residues.
WARNING:
• DO NOT OPEN OR REMOVE FIXTURE WHILE IT IS ENERGIZED.
• DO NOT USE FIXTURE ON UN-GROUNDED CIRCUITS. Failure to ground this luminaire can result in an
electrical shock which may be fatal.
• Disconnect power supply before servicing fixture.
CAUTION:
• DO NOT use CJLL1 (1500 lumen model) and CJLL2 (3000 lumen model) in areas of limited ventilation or in
ambient areas above 55ºC or below -40ºC.
• DO NOT use CJLL3 (5000 lumen model) in areas of limited ventilation or in ambient areas above 40ºC
or below -40ºC.
NOTICE:
• When installed in hazardous locations, it is necessary that the globe be in place and that the unit be tightly closed.
• Globe should be cleaned periodically to maintain lighting efficiency.
• Cleaning of luminaires must only be performed when deposits of readily combustible paint residues are not present.
• All mounting hoods are Listed for Groups B, C & D.
• For Group B installs, sealing fittings must be installed within 2" of the hood.
