Commissioning
a) Remove Car Body
Remove the safety clips of the car body first and then lift it from the chassis.
b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
Put the of/off switch (A) for receiver to the "OFF" posi-
tion.
Guide the aerial cable through the enclosed aerial
tube and plug it into the holder (B) next to the re-
ceiver box (C).
If the cable is still inside the receiver box, loosen the
screws of the lid of the receiver box and remove the
lid.
Guide the aerial cable through the corresponding
opening of the receiver box.
Our tip: Protect the receiver from strong vibrations by
wrapping it, e.g. in a little foam.
Then close the receiver box.
For best range, the aerial cable must protrude from the vehicle vertically.
Never shorten the aerial cable! Never coil the aerial cable! This greatly reduces the range.
c) Inserting Receiver Battery into the Vehicle
Open the battery box (A); the lid is attached with two
clips.
In the battery box, there is a two-pin red BEC con-
nection that comes directly from the on/off switch of
the receiver box.
Connect the receiver battery to the BEC connection;
observe correct polarity (red cable = plus/+, black
cable = minus/-).
Put the receiver battery in the battery box and close
the battery box again.
Our tip: fasten the receiver battery in the battery box,
e.g. with a pierce of hard foam or foam material.
