General Safety Instructions

Intended Use

❐ The steam mop is suitable for cleaning heat-resistant surfaces. It is also suitable for cleaning
laminate fl ooring if you follow the instructions below:
1. The laminate should be properly laid and have no gaps or cracks into which moisture
can penetrate.
2. First test the steam mop at an inconspicuous spot and then check the laminate for waves
or penetrated moisture.
3. If the surface is unblemished, the device can be used to clean the entire laminate fl oor.
❐ The hand steam cleaner is intended to be used exclusively for cleaning smooth, heat-resistant
surfaces in dry indoor rooms. In addition, the hand steam cleaner is suitable for steam
pressing clothing and other fabrics.
❐ The steam mop and hand steam cleaner are not designed for use outdoors. There is the risk
that rain or dirt may damage the devices.
❐ Never attempt to clean electrical devices with the hand steam cleaner or the steam mop.
There is the risk of an electric shock.
❐ The steam mop and hand steam cleaner are not suitable for cleaning unsealed wooden
fl oors, soft plastic and wooden furniture.
❐ Neither the steam mop nor the hand steam cleaner are suitable for cleaning cold glass
surfaces (e. g. window panes when outside temperatures are around freezing point). If the
temperature difference between the glass surface and the hot steam is too great, this can
crack the glass.
❐ Ask a specialist whether your fl ooring is suitable for cleaning with the steam mop. Always
test the cleaning at a small spot fi rst.
❐ You should always note the care instructions for your clothing / fabrics before you press them
with the hand steam cleaner. Test the procedure before you begin on a small, inconspicuous
spot.
❐ The steam mop and hand steam cleaner are designed for personal use, not for commercial
use. The steam mop and hand steam cleaner should only be used as described in these
instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
❐ Caution! Danger of burns! Improper use can lead to injuries, scalding and electric
shock.

Danger of Injury

❐ Keep the packaging fi lm out of the reach of children and animals. There is a danger of
suffocation!
❐ The steam mop and hand steam cleaner are not designed to be used by individuals (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or those without suffi cient
experience and / or knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone responsible for their
safety or have received instructions from them on how to use the devices. Children must be
supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the devices.
❐ Never direct steam at people, animals, plants, or other sensitive objects. This can cause
scalding and damage to property.
