Safety Instructions

This device may be used by people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on
how to use the device safely and have understood the dangers
resulting from this.
Children may not play with the device.
Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. The
mains cord may also not be accessible for children. They could
pull the device down with it.
WARNING Scalding hazard! This device works with
hot steam. Never point the steam directly at people,
animals or plants.
WARNING of hot surfaces! Only hold the device by
the handle during operation.
Danger of scalding! Always allow the device to cool down com-
pletely before you pour water in or out, clean the device and/or
store it away.
Never attempt to open the water reservoir during use! The water
reservoir is pressurised. Always make sure that the water reser-
voir is fi rmly shut before you use the device.
The steam may not be pointed towards the mains cord or parts
containing electric components (e. g. inside ovens, fridges, at
switches and lights, microwave ovens).
The device should always be unplugged from the power supply if
it is not supervised and before assembly, disassembly or clean-
ing and before you fi ll or empty the water reservoir.
Always check the device for damage before putting it into opera-
tion. Use the device only when it is completely assembled and
operational. The device must not be used if it has been dropped,
if obvious signs of damage are visible or if it has leaks.
If the device, the adapter, the connecting cable or the plug of the
device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
customer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person (e. g.
specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.
