Dangers of Injury
Danger of suffocation from plastic fi lms and bags! Keep children

and animals away from the packaging material.
This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
■
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply
with the relevant safety precautions. Children must not play with
the device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried
out by children.
Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept

away from the device and the connecting cable.
Danger of scalding! This device works with hot steam! Use the
■
device with care. You should therefore only hold the device by
the handle when you are operating it and shortly afterwards. Do
not touch the steam bottom or the attachment during or shortly
after use. Allow the device and the attachment to cool down
completely before you empty the water reservoir and/or clean
the device and store it away.
Never direct the steam at people, animals or plants. This can
■
cause severe scalding. Never attempt to smooth clothes while
somebody is wearing them.
Open the water reservoir only to fi ll it. Otherwise keep it closed
■
during operation so that no hot water can escape.
Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a
■
trip hazard.
Never leave the device unattended when it is connected to the
■
mains. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket after use
or when taking a break to prevent personal injury or damage to
property.
Store the device out of the reach of children and animals!
