Proper use

❐ This device steam irons fabrics. The device is also designed for removing lint and unpleas-
ant odours from clothing, upholstery, pillows, curtains etc.
❐ The device is not suitable for removing stains or discolouration.
❐ The device is intended for domestic, not commercial, use.
❐ Only use the device as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed improper.

Scalding hazard

❐ Keep children and pets away from the packaging. Danger of suffocation exists!
❐ This device is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with restricted sensory
or intellectual abilities or with a lack of experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions from that
person as to how to use the device. Children must be under supervision to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
❐ Never point the steam directly at people, pets or plants. This can lead to serious scalds.
❐ Never attempt to iron clothing when being worn by someone.
❐ Only hold the device by the handle during operation. There is a scalding hazard!
❐ Never leave the device unattended when plugged in to the electricity supply.
❐ The used adapter may be very hot for a short time after use. For this reason, wait a few
minutes until it has cooled off completely before you remove it.
❐ Always allow the device to cool off completely before filling it with water, before removing
water, and before cleaning the device and/or stowing it.
❐ Store this device out of the reach of children!

Risk of electric shock and fire

❐ Only connect the appliance to a properly installed socket with protective earth contacts.
The socket must also be easily accessible after the appliance has been connected. The
mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the device. Only use proper exten-
sion cords, whose technical data correspond to those of the appliance.
❐ This device must have an earthed connection. Only use the corresponding plug. Do not
attempt to avoid earthing.
❐ Never submerge the unit in water or other liquids! Make sure that the device, cable and
plug cannot fall into water or get wet. If the appliance falls in water, immediately disconnect
the power supply.
❐ Never touch the unit, the cord or the plug with wet hands.
❐ The steam must not be directed towards mains electricity cables or parts containing elec-
trical components (e.g. oven interiors, fridges, switches or lights, microwave ovens).
