Troubleshooting
Problem
The signal light does not
light up although the
device is connected to
the mains and is switched
on (the on / off switch is
set to position I).
No steam emits.
Water emits instead of
steam.

Possible Cause / Solution
• The mains socket in use is defect.
Connect the device to an alternate mains socket.
• The device is defective.
Contact the customer service department.
• The device is not yet ready for operation.
The device must warm up for approx. 60 seconds before it is
able to emit steam.
• The device is new or not used for a longer period of time.
During initial use, or when the steam mop was not used for a
longer period of time, you have to actuate the steam release
button for approx. 30 seconds after switching the device on in
order to prepare the device for operation. During this time,
you'll hear a pumping noise, because all of the relevant steam
mop parts has to be fi lled with water. When you use the device
for the second time the fi lter and feed lines will already be fi lled
with water.
• The water tank is empty.
Refi ll the water tank (see the "Putting into Operation" chapter,
"Filling the Water Reservoir" section).
• The water is condensing in the tube.
Push the steam release button until steam emits. If applicable,
place a cloth under the cleaning foot in case water leaks out. If
nevertheless water continues to emit, switch off the device (set
the on / off switch to position 0), allow the device to cool down
completely and try it again.
