Before Initial Use

• Unpack the devices and accessories. Check the contents against the items supplied (see the
"Items Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) to ensure they are complete and that there
is no transport damage. If you should fi nd transport damage, do not use the device (!), but
instead contact the customer service department immediately.
• Assemble the steam mop (see the "Assembly" chapter).
• Clean the device and accessories (see the "Care, Maintenance and Storage" chapter).
Assembly
Lay out all accessory parts carefully on a fl at fl oor. To be on the safe side, place a protective fi lm
underneath the parts to prevent any damage to delicate surfaces.

1. Plug the cleaning foot into the foot holder.
2. Secure the cleaning foot with the small cross-head screw by
pushing this through the foot holder and tightening it slightly.
1. Hold down the button for activating the articulated joint so that
you can put up the handle of the steam mop.
2. Move the handle to an upright position until the joint is heard
to lock in place.
