❐ When using the steam mop and hand steam cleaner, you should always hold them by the
handles which are provided for this purpose in order to avoid scalding from hot steam.
❐ The attachments used on the hand steam cleaner and the fl oor cloths used on the steam
mop may still be very hot shortly after use. You should therefore wait for a few minutes until
they have completely cooled before you detach them or replace them.
❐ Always allow the steam mop and hand steam cleaner to cool down completely before you
pour in or remove water, clean the devices and / or store them away.
❐ Keep the steam mop and hand steam cleaner out of the reach of children and animals!
❐ Lay cables in such a way that they do not present a trip hazard!
Electricity – Risk of Electric Shocks!
❐ In the interest of your own safety, inspect the devices, the cables and the mains plugs for
any signs of damage each time before you use them. Only use the devices if they are fully
assembled and in good working order!
❐ In the event of any damage / faults, switch the steam mop and hand steam cleaner off
immediately.
❐ Never try to repair electrical devices or replace parts yourself. If defects occur, the devices
may no longer be used. Get in touch with your nearest customer service centre / specialist
dealer or, in the event of damage, please contact our customer service department.
❐ Do not immerse the steam mop or hand steam cleaner in water or other liquids.
❐ Connect the steam mop and hand steam cleaner only to sockets that are properly installed
and correspond to the technical data of the devices (see the "Technical Data" chapter).
❐ Steam must never be aimed directly at mains cables or parts containing electrical components
(e. g. the insides of ovens, fridges, switches and lights, microwave ovens).
❐ Use only the accessories included in the items supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
❐ Remove the mains plug from the mains socket if you are not going to use the devices, when
there is a thunderstorm, and before you clean them.
❐ If you would like to remove the mains plug from the mains socket, never pull the cable, but
rather the plug.
❐ Do not touch the mains plugs or the cables with wet hands.
❐ Have a damaged cable repaired only by the manufacturer, the customer service department,
or an electrician.
❐ Never leave the devices unattended when they are connected to the mains.

❐ Check the fl oor cloth of the steam mop for any signs of wear each time before you use it.
Do not use it if it shows any signs of wear or if it is damaged! It could damage your fl ooring!
❐ Only use the devices if they are fully assembled and in good working order!
❐ When refi lling water, changing the fl oor cloth, switching attachments or before cleaning,
disconnect the devices from the mains power.
❐ Always hold the hand steam cleaner horizontally during use.
