• The camera switches on automatically and the LC display shows "USb". The PC recognizes
the camera as an external drive. It will be shown in Windows
different editing options available.
• View images or videos: Navigate to the file that you want to view. Open the file by double-
clicking it. Videos are recorded with sound. The sound is played back if you view a video on
your PC.
• At the bottom bar of the recorded image or video, the recording date, time and temperature in
°C are shown. The displayed temperature refers to the temperature in the camera. However,
in most cases it is equivalent to the ambient temperature. The temperature measuring range
is -10 to +55 °C.
• Saving images or videos: Highlight the file that you want to save and then drag the file into
the desired folder.
• Deleting images or videos: Delete the file using the normal method of your Windows or Mac
operating system.
WARNING:
Before you format, make sure you are formatting the camera drive only. Do not
accidentally format the wrong drive.
• Formatting the SD card: Format the SD card using the normal method of your Windows or
Mac operating system.
• Once editing is completed, disconnect the USB cable from the PC and camera. Please
observe the requirements of your operating system. The camera switches off automatically.
Depending on your operating system, it may be necessary to first eject the drive
before disconnecting the USB cable from the PC to avoid any data loss or damage to
the data.
17. Care and cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as
these could damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Always turn off the camera before cleaning and disconnect any cables that may be connected
to the camera. Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
