Connecting the camera
• Connect the "connector for power supply DC 12V" (5) with a power source
of 12V/DC, which can be loaded with at least 280 mA (we recommend a
power source with 500 mA).
• Connect the "connector for Video-Out" (4) to the analogue video input of
your display unit.
• Switch on the power supply of your camera.
• Switch your display device on and select the desired channel, if necessary.
• Remove the cover from the front (not screwed).

Explanation of the connecting terminals
At the back, the camera as a connecting terminal for a PTZ camera (=con-
nection RS485 + -; consider the operating instructions of your PTZ camera)
and a controller connection: Zoom (Z), focus (F), menu (M), com (C).
Explanation of OSD menu
Press the "MENU" button. This opens the OSD menu on the screen of your
monitor.
Select the desired option with the buttons "N" or "F".
Select the desired setting with the button "W" or "T".
1 ID
A camera ID can be assigned. If ID 1-255 is set, the ID is shown in the upper
left corner of the display.
2 BAUD SET
Set the required baud rate in order to enable communication of the RS485
interface.
3 ZOOM SPEED
Set the zoom speed.
4 ZOOM START
Set the minimum start zoom factor
5 ZOOM STOP
Set the maximum start zoom factor
6 FOCUS STATE
This function is not available for this camera version.
7 START TIME
This function is not available for this camera version.
8 STOP TIME
This function is not available for this camera version.
9 INIT SET
Restores the factory settings, additional motor resetting is done. Camera ID
will be maintained.

10 FOCUS SENS
Set the focus sensitivity. The higher the set value. The higher the sensitivity.
11 OSD MODE
Select OSD mode (=on screen display mode).
12 IR CUT
This menu does not have any function in this version of the camera.
13 MIRROR
Flip camera image
14 SHUTTER
Shutter: AUTO, 1/50 - - - - - - - 1/10000 optional)
15 WB CONTROL
Automatic white balance
16 DAY NIGHT
Select camera mode COLOR (=day mode), NIGHT (night mode), AUTO (au-
tomatic mode)

Maintenance and cleaning

Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera, separate it from
the mains voltage and disconnect the wall plug transformer from the mains
socket.
To clean the outside of the camera, it is suffi cient to use a dry, soft and
clean cloth.
Clean the camera housing very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do
not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the house-
hold waste! Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of
use, according to the current statutory requirements.
