9. Preliminary camera setting
a) Factory settings
Operating mode: PIR (motion detector)
Image resolution: 12 MP
Time-out: 30 seconds
Time lapse: Start 7:00 pm, end 07:00 am (next day)
Time-out: 30 seconds
Image mode: Multi-shot recording 1 image
b) Switch position PSET
Operating mode: PIR (motion detector)
Time-out: 30 seconds
c) Inserting batteries and SD card, setting the time and date
• Install 4 type C 1.5 V batteries. Observe correct polarity +/- as indicated next to the battery
compartment (11) (see chapter 10., section a) Battery operation).
• Set the TEST OFF CAM PSET switch (19) to OFF before inserting or removing an SD card.
• Insert an SD card in the SD card slot SD CARD (23). The maximum storage capacity of the
SD card may not exceed 32 GB.
• Set the TEST OFF CAM PSET switch (19) to TEST to set the date and time. Press the M
button. The LC display (14) shows the hour and minutes and "I" and "T" begin flashing.
• Press the OK button. Press the ▲ (up) / ▼(down) buttons to set first the hours and then
the minutes. Confirm each setting by pressing the OK button before moving on the next
parameter.
• The display then switches to the date setting parameter. On the LC display shows "D".
• Set the day, month and year with the ▲/▼ buttons. Confirm each setting by pressing the
OK button.
