10. Maintenance and Cleaning

Maintenance or repairs may only be performed by qualifi ed personnel or a specialised repair shop.
There are no components on the inside of the product that need maintenance by you; therefore,
never disassemble it (apart from the described steps for installation and start-up in these instruc-
tions).
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is suffi cient. Do not press on the
front window or the housing too hard, as this leads to scratches.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solvents since they can
damage the surface of the housing or even impair operation.

11. Troubleshooting

No camera image
• Set the monitor to the right input channel.
• Check the voltage/power supply to the camera.
• Check the cable connections of the camera.
• If you use a long video cable, you should test by connecting a test monitor or something similar
to the camera with a shorter cable.
Use a high-quality video cable or an amplifi er if necessary.
Only black-and-white camera image
• Check the settings in the setup menu.
• At night, the camera automatically switches to a black-and-white image (at the same time, the
IR LEDs are activated). A colour is not possible here.
Image too bright
• Check the settings in the setup menu; if necessary, reset the camera to the factory settings.
• Do not direct the camera toward the sun or a light source.
• Select appropriate settings in the setup menu, e.g. for the white balance, etc.

12. Disposal

Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statu-
tory requirements.
