9. Maintenance and Cleaning

Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a specialist or specialist workshop. There are no
components inside the product that need maintenance by you, this is why you should never open/
disassemble it (apart from the assembly and commissioning work described in these instruc-
tions).
A dry, soft and clean cloth is suffi cient for cleaning the outside. Do not press on the lens or hous-
ing too strongly. This will lead to scratches.
Dust can be removed easily using a long-hair, soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since
these may damage the casing or even impair function.

10. Troubleshooting

No camera image
• Set the screen to the correct input channel.
• Check the voltage/current supply of the camera.
If the cable is too long, the voltage in the cable will drop. Use a cable with a larger cross-section
if required.
• Check the camera's cable connections.
• For long video cables, try connecting a test screen or something similar to the camera with a
shorter cable.
Use a higher-quality video cable or video pre-amplifi er if required.
Only black/white camera image
• Check the setting in the setup menu.
• At night, the camera will automatically switch to black/white display (at the same time, all
IR LEDs are activated). Colour display is not possible here.
Screen too bright
• Check the settings in the setup menu; reset the camera to factory settings if required.
• Never point the camera at the sun or a lamp.
• Select the corresponding settings in the setup menu, e.g. for white balance, etc.
