Put the load lifting equipment on the ground or cordon off the area beneath the suspended load.

Secure the load lifting equipment against oscillating movements (e.g. tie to building).

Pull up the wire rope without load to a position out of the reach of people.

Disconnect the power supply and secure the hoist against unauthorized use.
10.3 Permanently decommissioning

Dismantle the product, see § 9.

Clean the outside of the product and then store it away.

Transport and storage
11.1 Transport
11.1.1 General transporting instructions
Ensure that no damage occurs during the transporting.
Always use suitable transport equipment and get a second person to help you with heavy components.
11.1.2 Hoist

On-site, the hoist can be transported using the carrying handle, see Illustration 1. If necessary transport with the help of a second
person.

Heavy hoists can be transported using suitable transport equipment on the eye bolts or ring nuts.

Utilize the transport box when transporting with a vehicle. Secure the hoist or the transport box with lashing straps.
11.1.3 Wire ropes

Transport the wire ropes on the reels whenever possible.
–
Rolled-up wire ropes without reels should be lifted and transported using a lifting strap.

Minimize the load resulting from the dead weight as much as possible.
11.2 Storage
General storage conditions:
Dry location (maximum of 75% relative humidity)
Dust-free
Storage temperature: see range of operating temperatures
Wire rope storage conditions:
Lightly greased
Avoid contact with chemicals (e.g. battery acid)
Store without any mechanical crushing, pressure or tensile stress
Protected against direct sunlight, chemicals, soiling and mechanical damage
