- Remove the starter cable from the starter (1).
- Remove the starter (1).
- Remove the start number plate, disconnect the plug-in connector (2) and
remove the start button from the handlebar.
- Mount the start number plate.
- Remove the wiring harness.
- Remove the shift lever (3).
- Remove the torque limiter cover (4).
- Remove the torque limiter (5).
- Remove the screws of the ignition cover (6) and set the ignition cover aside
(Figure A).
- Remove the rotor screw (7).

- Mount the special tool (8) (protection cap for crankshaft 75029090000).
- Attach the special tool (9) (extractor 58012009000) to the rotor.
- Hold with the special tool and pull off the rotor by turning the screw.
NOTE:
Ensure that the spring washers remain in place.
- Remove the lock ring (10) and take off the stop disk and starter idler gear
(11).
- Remove the freewheel gear (12).
