5.2 CLEANING

To avoid any measurement error due to electrode soiling a regular cleaning of the ele-
ments in contact with the medium is recommended (the cleaning frequency depends on
the application).
The 8041 sensor may be cleaned with water or a product which is compatible with the
materials therein.
Do not use abrasive products. After cleaning, always rinse the measuring element.
Before setting back into operation:
- check the gaskets and change them if need be, as well as other damaged elements
(see § 7.1.2)
- calibrate the "zero flow" point (see § 3.4).
