Clean the fi lters regularly, or if you notice a reduction in the suction power.
Clean the housing with a damp, soft cloth if necessary. Then dry it with a soft cloth.
Regularly remove hair and fl uff from the nozzles.
Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean place that is protected from
sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals.
Cleaning the Dust Container, Sieve, Dust Filter and Micro-Dust Filter
1. Take the dust container (8) out of the device (see the "Assembly" chapter).

2. Hold the dust container (8) over an open dustbin. The distance between the dust con-
tainer and the dustbin should be as short as possible to ensure that the dust from the
dust container (8) falls into the dustbin only and does not spill into the environment.
3. Turn over the dust container (8) and tip the dust into the dustbin.
4. Clean the dust container (8) with running water and mild detergent if necessary. Do
not clean in the dishwasher.
5. Once all parts are dry, insert the sieve (A), the micro-dust fi lter (B) and the dust fi lter
(C) back into the dust container (8).
6. Insert the dust container (8) into the device (see the "Assembly" chapter).
Cleaning the Motor Exhaust Air Filters
6. Once all parts are dry, insert the motor exhaust air fi lters into the exhaust air com-
partments.
Remove the dust fi lter (C), the micro-dust fi lter (B) and the

sieve (A) and tap or brush them out with a soft brush to
remove dirt and dust. Thoroughly rinse the dust fi lter (C)
and the sieve (A) with clear, lukewarm water if necessary.
CAUTION:
– The micro-dust fi lter (B) must not be cleaned with water as
it could be damaged.
– Do not under any circumstances clean the fi lters in a
washing machine or dishwasher! Under no circumstances
should you dry them in a tumble-dryer. Shake off excess
water and let the fi lters dry completely in the air.
1. Reach into the recesses on the exhaust air compartment
covers (4) and twist them towards the suction opening (7).
2. Remove the exhaust air compartment covers (4) and take
out the motor exhaust air fi lters.
3. Tap out the motor exhaust air fi lters or brush them out with
a soft brush to remove dirt and dust.
4. Wipe out the fi lter compartments with a damp cloth.
5. If necessary, thoroughly rinse the motor exhaust air fi lters
using clear, lukewarm water.
CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances clean the
motor exhaust air fi lters in a washing machine or dish-
washer! Under no circumstances should you dry them in
a tumble-dryer. Shake off excess water and let the motor
exhaust air fi lters dry completely in the air.
