- the electrical connection is a single phase
connection type 220 - 230 V ~ 50/60 Hz or
three-phase 380-400 3N V.
! The appliance must be correctly connected
to an earth system.
- if the oven is connected directly to the
mains electricity supply, the installer must
install an isolating switch of suitable current
rating with a contact breaking distance of
at least 3 mm. The isolating switch must be
installed near the appliance in the permanent
electrical system of the premises.
- the earthing cable must not be interrupted in
any case by the switch.
! Warnings:
Before performing maintenance, always
disconnect the oven from the mains power
supply by turning off the main switch or
unplugging from the main socket.
The oven could be equipped with a plugless
electrical cable. In case a plug needs to
be fi tted, make sure it matches the oven's
maximum power. Make sure the earth
cable (yellow-green) is connected to the
corresponding terminal on the plug.
If you have to install or replace the cable,
proceed as follows:
- disconnect the oven from the mains.
- open the terminal board trapdoor at the back
of the oven. (picture 1).
- connect the wires as shown in the picture
2, making sure the yellow-green cable is
connected to the earth terminal. In case a
homologated BS. 1363 13A plug is been
used, fi t a 13 ampere fuse.
- the cable must be fastened with the wire
clamp on the terminal board so it can not
twist or remove itself (picture 2). Do not
allow any part of the cable to be exposed to
temperatures above 75 °C.
- the plug and the electrical connection must
match the oven's power. Make sure the plug
is accessible. In case the appliance is directly
connected to the mains electricity supply an
omni polar cut-out device (with a contact
gap of at least 3mm.) Must be fi tted in a
accessible area to the user.

2.4 Equipotential system

The appliance must be included
in an equipotential system whose
effi ciency must be properly checked according
to current laws. This connection must be done
between different appliances through the
terminal marked with the under symbol. The
equipotential conductor must have a minimum
2
section of 10 mm
.

2.5 Water connection

(only for models equipped with humidifi er)
It's necessary to place a mechanical fi lter and a
shut-off valve between the water system and the
appliance.
As required by current laws, the appliance is
equipped wit fi tting pipe 3/4" .
Before connecting the water pipe to appliance
please let some water fl ow to clear the pipe of
any obstructions.
The water used in the appliance must have
a pressure value between 1 and 3 bar and a
maximum temperature of 30°C.

2.6 Drain conncection

The water coming out from the waste outlet pipe
can be very hot (90°C). Proper pipes for high
temperature must be used for this connection.

2.7 Water drain

You fi nd the waste outlet pipe on the rear of the
oven. It has to be connected to an open tundish
drain in compliance with current regulations
through a rigid or fl exible heat resistant pipe;
the diameter of the pipe cannot be smaller than
diameter of the drain connection. the length of
the pipe cannot be longer than one metre.
The waste pipe must remain at least 20 cm.
below the drain connection to allow the liquids
to drain.

2.8 Cooking chamber exhaust

The exhaust outlet of the cooking chamber is
positioned on the rear of the oven at the top.
Do not stack any object and /or material on the
outlet as this could cause a blockage of the
fumes. It is suggested to place the oven below
an extraction hood.

3. Using the oven

Important:
Before using the oven for the fi rst time it is
recommended to turn it to the maximum
temperature and leave it to heat for an hour.
During this period there may be some smell
and smoke due to the oven's thermal insulation
adhesives and oils. It is recommended to leave
a window open for the air to circulate.

3.1 Front panel

Control panel.
A = function selector (pict. n.10)
B = power (on/off light) (pict. n.6)
C = timer (pict. n.8)
F = thermostat (on/off light) (pict. n.7)
G = control thermostat (pict. n.9)
U = humidifi er (only for models equipped with
humidifi er) (pict. n.12)
D = grill function (only for models equipped
with "Grill" function) (pict. n.11)

3.2 Lights

Power (on/off light)
When lit it indicates that the oven is connected
to the mains.
Thermostat light (on/off)
Indicates that the resistances to maintain the
selected temperature are switched on/off.
3.3 Manual programmer (picture 8)
Manual mode:
turn the knob clockwise on the "hand" symbol.
! Warning: if the knob is kept on manual
mode the oven will remain switched on
continuously.
Cooking function: (picture 8)
turn the knob clockwise on the desired cooking
time. When cooking time reaches the end the
oven will shut itself and an alarm tone will be
issued.
3.4 Oven thermostat (picture 9)
The oven thermostat controls the desired
temperature on all of the oven's functions.
The heating elements are switched on and off
in order to maintain the desired temperature.

3.5 Oven function selector

This selector is used to choose the desired
cooking function.
Oven light
Select this function to switch the oven
light one. The light will switch on with the other
functions as well.
Intense cooking with hot air
Select this function for an even
cooking. Ideal for cooking cakes, bread and
other large dishes.
Defrost and dry
(only for models equipped with "Grill"
function)
Select this function to accelerate the defrosting
process or to dry the food that needs to be
cooked using a forced air fl ush.
Grill
(only for models equipped with "Grill"
function)
