7.3.12 Enabling the wiper

7.3.12.1 Enable from the remote button

The wiper can be operated remotely using an NO
(normally open) clean contact. The command has
a range of about 200m (656ft) and can be achieved
with an unshielded cable with a 0.25mm² minimum
section (AWG 24).

Pass the cables through the entry device.
Pull out the J6 removable connector (WIPER_CMD)
from the CPU board and connect the cables.
Then insert the wired connector into the connector
and connect the cables with a cable tie.
All signal cables must be grouped together
by means of a strap.

Before closing the housing, connect the
wiper wiring to the J3 and J8 connectors.

7.3.12.2 Enable from the keyboard

If the serial communication line is being used, the
wiper can be enabled from the keyboard.
7.3.13 Enable the washing system from
the keyboard
If the serial communication line is being used, the
washer can be enabled from the keyboard. The
washer is activated via the closure of the clean
contact of a relay. Due to the absence of polarity both
terminals of the same relay can be used alternately
with voltages of alternating or direct current.
Pass the relays cables through the entry device.
Pull out the J11 removable connector (OUT_Washer)
from the CPU board and connect the relay cables
Then insert the wired connector into the connector
and connect the cables with a cable tie.
