Releasing a Teleradiograph

Select the symmetric diaphragm 40 (S) on the dia-

Set the cephalometer at a right angle (90°) to the image

SID = 166 cm
receiver.
The nose support must be removed and exchanged for
contact plate (30). Insert the contact plate up to the stop
and fix with the locking screw (20).
Position the patient at the side of the cephalometer.
Place the tips of the fingers against the upper edge of the
contact surface. The hand and arm must form a straight
line.
The patient may only press lightly against the contact
plate

Preparing a Teleradiograph

Observe the Radiation Protection Guidelines.

NOTE
The Help LEDs on the bottom of Control Panel A must all
be extinguished and the Ready LED may no longer be
flashing!

During exposure the nose support may not be swung out
of the way under any circumstances. Ensure that no hair,
pieces of clothing, jewelry etc. are touching the back sec-
tion of the head support. The patient's arms must hang
loosely next to the body.
Inform the patient that the head must be kept completely
still during the scan. Keep checking that this is the case.
