Reproducibility of teleradiographs
In order to ensure reproducibility in the case of repeat
exposures, the values of the various scales on the
cephalometer as well as the height adjustment reference
value shown on control panel A should be noted after
positioning the patient.
Enlargement of lateral exposures
For this exposure technique, a metal scale (25) on the
nose support is reproduced on the radiograph.
Using this scale, the enlargement factor in the median
plane can be determined exactly.
WARNING
Never lean or hang on the cephalometer or bracket
arm or place anything on them since this can lead to
changes in the adjustment, resulting in faulty expo-
sures.
WARNING
Do not move the secondary diaphragm by hand.
