Reposition image receptor

Remove end cap (29) from the teleradiograph
holder.
Turn knob (8) in the direction of the arrow and remove
image receptor (7) from the holder for panoramic radio-
graphs.
Insert image receiver (7) in the holder for teleradio-
graphs on the head support and fix in position by turning
knob (22).
Insert end cap (29) in the holder for panoramic
radiographs.
Help LED (15) for the image receiver slot extinguishes.
ATTENTION
Handle the image receptor with care. Do not subject to
knocks and do not drop under any circumstances. A vi-
bration sensor for verification of a knock or fall is integrat-

ed.
To ensure a free radiation field
Press button (9) and remove bite block. Close temple
supports completely with adjusting knob (4).

Approach teleradiograph position

By pressing Return button R either on Control Panel A
or on the Multitimer.
The X-ray tube assembly moves to the teleradiograph
position. Help LED (16) for Ceph X-ray tube position
extinguishes.
The secondary diaphragm on the head support then
moves to the correct position for the selected primary
diaphragm on the diaphragm wheel, should the posi-
tions not already coincide.
A for asymmetric or S for symmetric. The correct posi-
tion A or S is then displayed on the forehead support

adjustment display. In this case, Help LED (18) extin-
guishes only now (see page 10).
All help LEDs on Control Panel (A) and the flashing
ready LED on the Multitimer must now be extinguished.
The unit is now ready for taking a teleradiograph.
