To replace parts of the unit, use
original spare parts only.
Caution
Environmental hazard caused
by engine oil
After changing oil, give the waste
oil you have drained to a centre
authorised to dispose of waste oil
or to another disposal company.
Clean the unit and accessories.
Caution
Do not clean the unit with a high-
pressure cleaner.
Park the machine on a firm,
even and horizontal base.
Remove stubborn dirt.
Clean the engine with rags and
a brush.
Note
– After using the unit, always clean
the sweeping brushes in parti-
cular and remove any pieces
of string and wire and other
foreign objects.
– When using the unit in winter,
there is a particularly high risk
of rust and corrosion.
After use, always thoroughly
clean the unit.

Lubricating
Lubricate all rotating and moving
parts with a light oil.
Adjusting tyre pressure
Caution
Risk of explosion!
Never exceed the maximum tyre
pressure of 1.4 bar/20 psi.
Recommended tyre pressure:
1.0 bar.

Release the clutch lever (1).
Clutch cable (Pos. 3 – Fig. 12)
must not have any play but must
not be taut.
Otherwise, change setting (see
"Changing setting of the clutch
cable").
It must be possible to depress
the clutch lever (1) all the way.
Otherwise, the clutch cable has
been tensioned too tightly and
must be slackened (see "Chan-
ging setting of the clutch cable").
Additional inspection (see also
"Working with the unit"):
When the engine is running (
switch on sweeping brush drive
for 10 seconds.
Release clutch lever, the swee-
ping brush must stop turning.

Move shift lever (8) to fastest
forward gear (highest number).
When the clutch lever (2) is re-
leased, push the unit forwards.
While pushing, move the shift
lever (8) to fastest reverse gear

forward gear.
If there is resistance when
pushing the unit or changing
gear, slacken the clutch cable
(see "Changing setting of the
clutch cable").
When pushing the unit, press
clutch lever (2). The wheels must
be locked. Otherwise, tension
the clutch cable slightly (see
"Changing setting of the clutch
cable").
If the setting is still not correct,
repeat the process.

Tension: Loosen screw (A), accor-
ding to setting plate, push setting
plate downwards and retighten
screw (A).
