When the engine is running:
– Reset choke lever (depending
on engine type – see engine
manual).
– set throttle to the required
speed.
= fast engine speed
= slow engine speed

"P" (parking brake).
Attention!
Depending on the ground and gra-
dient of the terrain, secure the unit
from rolling away with wheel chocks
when switching it off.

Select a gear with the shift
lever (8):
– Forwards: "1" (slow) up to "5"
(fast).
– Backwards: "R/R1" (slow) and
"R
/R2" (fast).

Switching on travel drive:
Attention!
– Do not actuate clutch levers (1 and
2) when starting the engine.
– Drive slowly and carefully,
especially when reversing.
– Before changing direction, always
stop the unit first.
Start the engine as indicated.
Select a forwards or reverse gear
with the shift lever (8).

When reversing, the sweeping
machine must be moved to the

Attention!

are switched on, the unit can
be moved.
Start the engine as indicated.

drive (1); the unit sweeps.
Switching off brush drive:
Release clutch lever
for sweeping brush drive (1);
the sweeping brushes stop.

Attention!
– Do not actuate clutch levers (1 and
2) when starting the engine.
– Drive slowly and carefully,
especially when reversing. Before
changing direction, always stop
the unit first.
– When working, do not overload the
unit. Depending on the sweepings
or waste material and terrain,
adjust the travel speed accor-
dingly.
– The maximum height of snow
which can be swept is 10 cm.
Start the engine as indicated.
Set throttle (if fitted) to
sure adequate power output.
Select a forwards gear with
the shift lever (8).
Press and hold down
clutch lever for sweeping brush
drive (1); the sweeping brushes
are driven.
Press and hold down
clutch lever for travel drive (2);
the unit moves and sweeps.
To change gear, first release
clutch lever for travel drive (2) and
then change gear with the shift
lever (8).
Note
– When sweeping dirt, the speed
of the sweeping brushes can be
regulated (for units with throttle):
= fast;
The travel speed is also affected
at the same time.
– When sweeping or clearing snow
with the snow blade, the throttle
should always be moved to the
position to ensure adequate
power output.
Working on slopes
Danger of injury from tipping
!

Always work slowly and carefully,
particularly when you change
the direction of movement.
Do not use the machine on slopes
with a gradient greater than 20%.
Working on slopes is dangerous;
the unit may overturn or slip.
Only guide the machine diagonally
across the slope, never upwards
or downwards. On inclines never
disengage the clutch or change gear
and avoid cornering if possible.
