manual.
Wear safety glasses and a hard hat.
Wear long trousers with cut-retardant inserts
and cut-retardant sleeves on both arms.
Hold the saw firmly with both hands.
Observe safety notices on kickback and take the
necessary precautions.

the use of a tree service chainsaw may
use this chainsaw.
Always remove the battery during work breaks,
transport, storage, maintenance or repairs.

Intended Use

The tree surgery chain saw STIHL MSA 160 T is designed
for tree surgery and for sawing work in the crowns of living
trees.
The chain saw must not be used for felling.
The chain saw can be used in the rain.
The chain saw takes its energy supply from a STIHL AP
battery or a STIHL AR battery.
If climbing a tree, the chain saw must not be used together
with a STIHL battery belt or a STIHL AR battery.
