d. To remove the head cover, insert a finger or thumb under the locking tabs at the crown and pop them off the locking posts. After the two clips
have been released, lift on the head cover and it will slide out of the cut outs on the sides.
5. Large Neck Shroud: The welding helmet may incorporate a neck and shoulder covering shroud to protect these areas.
NOTE: The shroud (when incorporated with the Large Head Cover) will raise the Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of the respirator system to APF1000.
a. Disconnect the welding helmet airduct tube (see "Connecting and Disconnecting Breathing Tubes" in "Operating Instructions") (Fig. 29a).
