Switching On / Off and Battery Powered Operation

Switching On
The hand held terminal is automatically switched on when connected to a control
electronics. After switching on the software version is displayed and the
operating mode can be selected. The default mode will be the last user mode.

In battery powered operation the hand held terminal is switched on by pressing
the key for approx. 2 seconds.

Switching Off
The hand held terminal can only be switched off in battery powered operation by
pressing the key
In use with a control electronics this leads only resets the hand held terminal.
Battery Powered Operation
The hand held terminal is powered by the control electronics. Batteries are
necessary if the hand held terminal is used as an independent flow meter.
