The integrated temperature probe of the S-tube
provides an automatic density correction during
the flow speed measurement. Due to the large
measuring range of the probe (up to 250°C) the
accuracy in the low temperature range is lower in
comparison to the accuracy of an external Air
Temperature Probe. For this reason, a special
function is implemented in the Setup menu of the
Pro
Wöhler DC 100
ting an automatic adjustment of the probe.
This function can only be performed if the temper-
ature probe is connected to the device. In addi-
tion, it has to be ensured that the temperature of
the probe corresponds to that of the meter. The
meter first indicates the message "Temperature
stable?" and then the difference between the in-
ternal temperature sensor of the DC 100
the temperature probe of the S-tube probe. Press
ENTER button to accept this difference as the
new correction value.
