b) Inserting batteries
For the power supply of the transmitter, you will need 4 AA/Mignon batteries (e.g. Conrad item no. 652504, 4 pack,
order 1 x).
Important:
Use only standard batteries (1.5 V/cell) and not rechargeable batteries (1.2 V/cell) as the power supply of
the transmitter.
To insert the batteries, proceed as follows:
The battery compartment cover (1) is located on the rear
side of the transmitter. Press the locking lever (2) on the
upper edge of the battery compartment cover down gently
and lift off the cover.
Now insert 4 batteries into the battery compartment. Ob-
serve the correct polarity of the individual cells. A corre-
sponding note (3) is located on the bottom of the battery
compartment.
Then replace the battery compartment cover bottom edge
first in the transmitter housing and press the locking lever
so it clicks into place correctly.
c) Checking the transmitter's power supply
When new batteries have been inserted, switch the transmitter on with the on/off switch (see figure 1, no. 7) for test
purposes. To do this, move the function switch from the right "OFF" position to the left "ON" position. To show that
the supply voltage is correct, the red function control light (see figure 1, no. 2) lights up and the transmitter emits a
short beep.
If the power supply is no longer sufficient for correct operation of the transmitter, the red function control light starts
to flash and the transmitter emits a warning sound at a steady rhythm. In this case, you should stop operating your
model as quickly as possible.
For further operation of the transmitter, new batteries have to be inserted.
