f) The landing approach
Select the last curve before the landing approach so that the glider is landing into the wind. Make sure that, in case
of an emergency, you have sufficient room for landing and you do not have to correct the flight direction significantly
during the landing approach.
Ensure sufficient flying speed and do not slow the model down by pulling too hard at the elevator. The elevator deflects
fully upwards just before touch down and as a result the model lands softly.
After landing, adjust the wire connecting the rudder and the elevator so that the digital trim is once again in the centre
position and the model continues to fly in a straight line.

18. Maintenance and cleaning

Check the proper functioning of the remote control as well as the smooth running of the rudder linkage at regular
intervals. All moving parts should move freely, but there must be not any slackness in the bearing.
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use aggressive clean-
ing chemicals or detergents, as these may damage the surfaces of the model boat.
If the foam parts on the wings or the tail units are cracked or broken after a hard landing, you can easily repair them
in a matter of seconds with super glue for STYROPOR
Important!
If you have to replace damaged or worn parts, only use original replacement parts.
The spare parts list can be found in the downloads section of our website (www.conrad.com).
