5. Hold an EM card directly in front of the card reading window (3) to scan it. Two
beeps sound to confirm the card has been successfully scanned.
6. Press the door bell key (4) once to save the master card and exit CMC mode. Two
beeps sound to confirm that the card reader has returned to normal operation. The
status LED remains lit.
7. Mark this card as the master card. This card will be required for programming
access cards. Store the master card at a safe location, separate from other cards.
Do not mix up the master card with other access cards.

If the master card is not created during the stated period of 1 minute, the
system will be blocked and the status LED will go out. In this case, you must
repeat steps 1 - 6.
