Jumper for
door lock selection
5 : EG IN (output switch input for N. O. switch)
A normal open input connector uses a ground (-) connection for connecting an N. O.
switch to activate the output contact for the door lock pulse. Output switches are
normally installed in indoor spaces near a door so that they may be activated when
leaving the house.
6 : Data I/O
This connector for data communication is used to connect additional card readers
(type AR-2802) for expanding the transponder access control system. All EM cards
registered to the main device (AR-2808) will be accepted by additional card readers.
7 - 8 : Door Bell N. O. (relay contact for optional doorbell)
A normal open (N. O) potential-free contact with a max. output of 1 A, 24 V/DC,
controlled by the doorbell. This contact is intended for triggering an optional low-
voltage doorbell.
9 - 10 : Tamper N. C.
A normal closed (N. C.) potential-free contact as long as the card reader is mounted
to the housing. The contact is opened when the card reader is disconnected from the
housing. Connect this N. C. connector the 24-hour protection zone of an alarm system
for a tamper alarm.
