• The product may be installed in a voltage-free state only.
• Check all connections carefully to make sure they are correct before
connecting the product to the power supply.
• Avoid use in the direct vicinity of strong electromagnetic low-frequency
waves. Especially avoid frequencies between 100 - 200 kHz.
• During assembly, prevent accidental contact of the circuit board with
metallic or other electrically conducting components. Failure to do so may
damage the product.
• Electrostatic charges may damage electronic components. Do not touch
electronic components with your bare hand.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold
room into a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the
product. Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting
and using it. This may take several hours.
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention
regulations for electrical systems and equipment of the government safety
organization or the corresponding authority for your country.
• Make sure that the cables are not pinched, bent, damaged by sharp edges
or subjected to other mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress to
the cables due to excessive heat or cold.
• Keep access cards away from magnetic sources and microwaves.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by
an expert or at a qualified shop.
