b) Connectors for wiring
1 - 2 : 12 VDC (power input)
Connect connector 1 (+) to a 12 V/DC power supply. Connect connector 2 (-) to ground.
Make sure that the power supply supplies sufficient power for the electric lock and

the card reader.

3 : (+) Door lock (12 V/DC current supply for electric lock)
Positive wire for electric lock (current supply connected as with connector 1).
4 : (-) (current supply for electric lock, output contact for the door lock)
A 3 A output contact for the electric lock's pulse. The contact switches to (-) in
operation. The switching can be set for use with fail-safe or fail-secure electric locks
via a jumper. Connect the ground (-) of the electric lock to this connector and to the
positive terminal (+) on connector 3. See chapter "8. Operation, d) Programming,
Setting output mode for door lock".
Important!
Two types of electric locks are available in specialist stores. In order to
make the proper jumper setting, you must determine whether the lock in
question is >fail-safe< or >fail-secure<. An incorrect setting may result
in damage to the door lock and/or card reader.
Fail-safe - normal condition activated:
on to close, off to open.
Fail-secure - normal condition deactivated:
on to open, off to close.
